areas of application
- Washable medical devices and inventory that fall under the Medical Devices Act (according to MPG)
- Washable surfaces (according to BPD), e.g. work surfaces in clinics, medical and dental practices, old people's and nursing homes, ambulances, medical laboratories and medical supply stores
- in the large kitchen and food sector (according to BPD)
Application
Mikrobac forte is supplied as a concentrate. The parts of medical devices to be disinfected and other washable surfaces (e.g. floors) must be completely wetted with a sufficient amount of solution. To remove disinfectant residues from sensitive plastic surfaces of medical devices, wipe with a cloth soaked in water of at least drinking water quality after the exposure time has elapsed. Further manufacturer instructions must be observed. Clean equipment thoroughly with water. Surfaces that come into direct contact with food should be rinsed with drinking water before being used again. Contact between amine and aldehyde products must be avoided. Therefore, an intermediate cleaning must be carried out before the first use of Mikrobac forte - especially if a product containing aldehyde has been used previously. This can be done with a 5 - 10% Dismofix G solution. Not for disinfecting invasive medical devices.
