Reinwasser Glasreinigung

pure water glass cleaning

Cleaning glass with pure water offers many advantages: It effectively removes dirt and residue without the need for chemicals. The pure water leaves no streaks or stains, ensures sparkling cleanliness and is environmentally friendly. Ideal for professional glass cleaning, it is a sustainable choice for clear and shiny surfaces

Washing, squeegeeing, polishing – three steps in conventional glass cleaning are two too many. You can also achieve perfect results in just one step: with pure water.

What is pure water?

This is water in its purest form. The minerals are removed in a physical process so that no limescale residue remains on the glass surface.
The minerals are called TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) and are measured in ppm (parts per million).
Water is considered 100% demineralized when the TDS value is 0 ppm.

Advantages
Security:
- UNGER pole systems enable safe working up to 20 m from the ground

- Large areas can be cleaned faster than with traditional methods

Economic benefits:
- Increased security = lower insurance costs
- More efficiency - more work can be done in the same amount of time
- No use of expensive chemicals and protection of the environment

Why clean with pure water?
Because the water is pure, meaning it contains no minerals, it has an outstanding cleaning power. Due to its physical properties, it wants to balance the mineral balance and therefore absorbs the dirt from the surface. It delivers streak-free results without the addition of chemicals or soap.
This process saves time, effort and money.

How is pure water produced?
The new UNGER HydroPower® Ultra deionization filter immediately produces 100% pure water through an ion exchange process. This removes the minerals from the tap water. The premium ion exchange resin becomes saturated with minerals and must be replaced later. The lifespan of the resin depends on the water hardness. The softer the water, the longer the resin lasts.

Typical applications
- Glass and facade cleaning
- PV/solar system cleaning
