For the test, I washed two very dirty pans and two kitchen accessories by hand. We put dishes and glasses in the dishwasher. Since these two items were also the dirtiest, they were perfect for the test. Before the first use and after each use, the sponge should be washed out well. No sooner said than done, and we can begin. I wet the sponge with a little washing-up liquid and wash my test objects. Cleaning is very quick and the dirt is also gone without scrubbing. For some stubborn spots, I go over it with the blue side and everything is clean. The coated pans have no scratches after using the blue side. So Spontex does what they promise. The soft, yellow side is perfect for cleaning light dirt. In contrast to normal sponges, the dish sponge is very thin. At first this is unusual, but after a while I find that this is very practical, because it makes it much easier to get to difficult corners. With conventional sponges, this is difficult due to the height of the sponge.

The dish sponge from Spontex is definitely recommended . The scratch-free properties are ideal and you don't have to worry about delicate dishes or coated pans. Stubborn dirt can be removed quickly and without scrubbing. The sponge has a handy shape and its low height is also an advantage for getting into difficult corners. Because the sponge is machine washable, it stays hygienically clean and therefore has a longer lifespan.
